The Long Heritage of The ATV

December 5th, 2007

After the release of the three-wheel ATVs, various models were produced for recreational use. The newer models offered improvements such as big balloon tires without the use of mechanical suspension. It wasn’t until the beginning of the 1980s that lower tires that had suspension were first introduced.

Because the majority of other vehicles cannot cross the type of terrain that an ATV can cross, its popularity when it was first introduced soared. These all-terrain vehicles instantly became a hit with Canadian and US hunters.

Taking recreational use as one aspect of these ATVs, newer sport models of ATVs became exceedingly popular when Honda introduced the 1981 Honda ATC250R with an outstanding engine displacement, five speed transmission, full suspension and a stunning design.

When people talk about four wheel vehicles, Suzuki has designed and developed extremely high-performance all-terrain vehicles. Ever since the beginning when the company first brought to market the very first ATV for beginning riders in 1983, it has steadfastly manufactured numerous different kinds of four-wheel ATVs for both professional and beginning riders.
